Regimental church of the Izmailovsky regiment of Imperial guards is a centrally planned, five-domed cathedral with similar hexastyle Corinthian porticos at each facade. An impressive volume of the cathedral dominates the surrounding city construction. Cathedral's interior preserved the decoration with white marble.
