Description
Built at the entrance to Moscow on the way from Saint Petersburg as an en route imperial palace by order of Catherine the Great. The architecture of the palace was created immediately under the influence of the Khodynka constructions ensemble. This is the first Gothic creation of M. Kazakov presenting his interpretation of romantic style in the architecture. The architect created a spectacular construction in a form of a romantic style medieval palace. The exterior design of the palace has motives of medieval European, Eastern, Russian architecture.
