Description
The church is a cross-domed building supported by six circular pillars, preserving the north wall and also a part of the altar and a half of a south wall. It was constructed with a plinthiform brick in an even laying technique. The circular pillars of interior created the cohesion of the inner space of the cathedral.
The unusual facade decoration of the Kalozha church attracts the interest. The walls of the churchб sectioned with multi-stepped pilaster-strips, are covered with cross ornaments made of figure coloured glazed tiles.
In 1853 south wall and exedra came down.
